ミラノを拠点に活動する韓国出身のデザイナーSUNG KIMの
文化的背景とアイデンティティを映し出しています。

 

東洋の繊細な感性と、西洋の構築的な美 。

 

その融合から生まれる、DELLEST の独自のスタイルは、
国境や言語を越えた、美の新たな共通語です。

 

DELLEST means “from the East” in Italian. More than just a name, it reflects the cultural identity of Korean designer SUNG KIM, who has been based in Milan.

Blending Eastern grace with Western structure, DELLEST shapes a language all its own.

- THE DESIGNER -

SUNG KIM / ソン キム 

SUNG KIMのキャリアは、
一般的なファッションデザイナーの道とは異なっていました。

彼はもともと機械工学を学んでいましたが、
2000年に“ファッション”というまったく
新しい世界を求めてミラノへ渡りました。

バイヤーやパターンデザイナーとして経験を積んだ後、
2007年6月、小さなブレスレットとベルトからスタートし、
ブランド「DELLEST」を立ち上げました。

イタリアの職人の工学房で技術を磨きながら、
彼は「レザー」と「クラフトマンシップ」への理解を深めてきました。

そして現在、DELLESTはミラノとソウルをつなぐ
プレミアムレザーブランドとして存在感を放っています。

 

SUNG KIM’s path to fashion began far from it. Originally trained in engineering, he moved from Seoul to Milan in 2000 - driven by a desire to explore a world of fashion.

After years working as a fashion buyer and pattern maker, he launched DELLEST in June 2007 with a small collection of handcrafted leather accessories.

Through close work with Italian artisians, he deepened his mastery of leather and craftsmanship - and over time, DELLEST evolved into a premium leather brand rooted in Milan, with a spirit that also reaches Seoul.
